I wish I could say there has been only one… unfortunately, the relationshipS that have taught me the most about myself are the ones with my abusers. Yes, I have had more than 1. As they are the ones that have taught me what I DO NOT want and taught me what I can handle and the ones where I have grown the most.
I am proud of the person I am today. I would not be this person nor would I have stop accepting unacceptable behaviour if it weren’t for the many relation-ships (romantic/ friend/ family/ boss/ customer… there are many kinds of relations that become ‘ships’) I have lived and thrived through.
