and it makes me happy.

We just got back from just over two weeks in Nova Scotia. The first have was in Halifax for a graduation. The second half of our vacation was in Cape Breton Nova Scotia. It ended up being all about my guy, and it was great. I didn’t find anything I wanted to do out there this time so I/we planned around what he wanted to do.

We visited some Little League feilds of those who had come out to BC for this or that tournament and visited
Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. The real vacation though was he got to play golf. Five times in the seven nights we were there. He loves it. He works so hard and is so loving and supportive that I really didn’t mind. I relaxed, took in the sights, wrote a bit (a very little bit) and loved seeing him so happy.

Usually when he plays he gets up early and I sleep in, (my favorite hobby BTW), so we have the afternoons and evenings together. Because of circumstances out of our control that didn’t happen every time this vacation. So, I ended up working a bit in the restaurant/clubhouse of one of the golf courses and sitting on a bluff watching the world go by at another.

I LOVED IT. I saw a glimps of our future together. Him able to play whenever he wants and me working where ever we might be. With gorgeous views as my inspiration.
