Travelling is… I’m not sure what. I am always happy to be where I am going, however the last few times I have had to travel the experience of getting from one place to the other has been… well lets say challenging.
In one of my former lives, I worked in hospitality. I know it’s been awhile (30ish years), but I can’t believe customer satisfaction is not the priority anymore. It’s all of these “3rd party” platforms that are driving me nuts. Even when I try to book or talk directly with the hotel, airline or car rental, I am forced to deal with a 3rd party… Then, when I do get a hold of the establishment, they can’t help me because my initial contact was a third party…
I just want to reserve what I want… Is that so hard?!??!??
