OK, I have to ask, and I am hoping someone out there really will comment below as to what it is.
POV; I always knew it to mean: Point Of View. As in someone’s point of view. In writing it could be 1st person POV; “The other day I went to the store and I couldn’t get Paul Newman out of my head.” 2nd person POV; “The other day you went to the store, and seemed to be lost in thought.” or The 3rd/narrator’s POV; “The other day when Cindee went to the store she had Paul Newman on her mind.”
So, POV means the a certain person’s perspective. I can even go so far as it can be from a person/place/or thing’s perspective. So, if someone says “POV: a sandwich” would it not be looking into the mouth and down the throat of the person eating said sandwich? Not, say the sandwich disappearing?
Or are we just living through another definition of “ironic” phase?
