“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”

Mother Teresa

What is your stone that you cast?
I have a few. I like to nod and smile at everyone whose eye I catch. I thank those in service situations that don’t usually get thanked, like the custodial employees, especially when there is always a mess to clean. I try and make the person behind the counter laugh. I tell the person in the complaint department whom I’m speaking to that I know it’s not their fault… and if I am especially upset I let them know that if I start to cry or shout or swear it’s not them, it’s the situation.

Most of all, I treat everyone I come in contact with like a friend.

What do you do to make the world better?
