What’s a cultural tradition from your country that you love?

Canada, the Great White North.

Canada is the 2nd largest country by landmass and the 38th in population globally.

I don’t know if you would call this a tradition per say, however, the thing that I like most about my country is our military. People joke that we don’t have one, and I LOVE that. I love being from the country that is known for Peace Keeping. For having more submarines in a mall than in service. I love the fact that we are NOT a military nation.

Another thing that I love about Canada is that we are considered a stew verses a melting pot when it comes to cultures. There isn’t really a “Canadian Culture”, we are made up of all the cultures that call Canada home. Also, because of it’s pure size, there is a big difference between those who live in BC and those who live in PEI, for instance. I won’t go into all the details, as there are far too many to mention. I just love the fact that we can physically stay in our country and experience the world of cultures, in some form.
